Apa itu proxy ?

Proxy adalah suatu aplikasi yang menjembatani antara client dengan ISP.

Bagaimana setting proxy pada browser?

• Untuk browser Internet Explorer
1. Pada menu bar buka Tools – Internet Options lalu klik pada tab connection .

2. Pilih pada bagian LAN Settinng, ceklis dua pilihan pada bagian proxy server lalu ketikkan alamat ip proxy  misal:180.183.250.69:8080  ( maksud tanda pisah  ":" itu adalah alamat Ip 180.183.250.69 dengan port 8080

3. Klik pada Advanced, ceklis pilihan Use the same proxy server for all protocol dan tekan OK.

• Untuk browser Mozilla Firefox
1. Pada menu bar pilih Tools – Options –General

2. Pilih Connection Setting, pada radio button pilih manual proxy configuration, dan ceklis Use the same proxy for all protocols, masukkan 180.183.250.69:8080  dengan port 8080 dan klik OK.

How to set up IE 6.x for using proxy?

1. Click "Service" \ "Internet Options";
2. Click "Connections";
3. If you use Dial-Up connection, choose your connection and click "Settings" button,
if you use LAN connection, click "LAN Settings" button in the "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings" group box;
Enable "use a proxy server";
4. In fields "Address" and "port", type proxy name and proxy port number;
5. If nessesary, enable "bypass proxy server for local addresses";
6. Click "OK";
